PEDAL STROKE ANALYSIS NEO2 promised on the official Garmin Website?

it was one reason why i replaced my Neo to a Neo 2, but still till today there is no PEDAL STROKE ANALYSIS as it is promised on the official Garmin Website:

So this is not my imagination? I just bought a Neo T2 nearly new (used only twice - now I see why) and paired it with my Edge 1000 as well as Samsung Galaxy tablet. Works fine as a basic trainer (different feel than my '16 Kickr for sure), but I couldn't for the life of me figure out which data fields would give me L/R Balance, etc. Been training with powercranks.com and really want to measure any (painful) progress.

While I am certain the Neo 2T includes the mechanics necessary for measuring collecting the data, the actual analysis is a function of the application used to review said data. In the case of the Edge 1000, you would need to review the firmware updates as I am unsure if Garmin extended these metrics to that device.

for Neo2T it's more clear, but whats up with Neo2, promised by Tacx and now Garmin and never coming via FW-Update after 1,5 years of buying?

While the Tacx Neo 2 (and perhaps Neo 2T) do not support the full cycling dynamics reporting, you can get L / R balance if you pair the trainer (Neo 2 in my case) to your head unit via ANT+ as a power meter (NOT as a trainer). I have done this a few times where I pair it with TDA and my Garmin head unit at the same time, you can then see L / R balance.

Can someone from Garmin explain how to see the pedal stroke analysis as depicted on the box and in the advertising? Can't seem to find it on TACX or ZWIFT.

Garmin assures me that it works fine on Windows, as I am a mac user I cannot verify, anyone confirm?

I used Tacx Desktop App with the Neo 2 on Windows 10 today and could not get any pedal analysis or Left / Right balance to display (should be able to turn display on/off using number pad) - if there is another way to enable it please advise.

I can see Left / Right balance on my Garmin 520 if I pair the Tacx Neo2 as a power meter with my Garmin 520 head unit.

Hi, I spent a long time trying to figure this out and eventually managed to find the following combination that works : Windows 10 PC, Tacx desktop app, bluetooth conection to Neo 2 (in my case I'm using the 2T). The key bit that I was missing (and don't think is documented anywhere) is that you have to connect to the Neo unit using bluetooth, I had been using Ant+ but if you do that the pedal stroke analysis is not available. What you then get is the widget in to bottom left of the TDA screen showing the 'peanut' graph of your pedal stroke but I haven't found anyway to subsequently download the data for analysis.
