Again the same problem. When I upgrade the first time a year ago there was no cadence anymore. Now a year later and still the same problem.
So I still use version 0.0.15 :-(
You should open a support case with Garmin and ask them to replace your Neo 2 non drive side housing.
The .32 firmware has nothing for Neo 2 owners, only Neo 2T.
Like you, my Neo 2 only worked with version .15 and worked very well. When updated to .18, no more cadence. While I was able to resurrect the cadence function by adding a paperclip to extend the crank arm (and have been mostly happy since then) I just wanted you to understand that the option to replace the non drive side housing is available.
The cadence sensor is glued to the housing, so unfortunately, you cannot just replace the sensor board.
Thank you for your answer. So if I understand well you did not do a replacement but you extend the crank arm. Because I have an MTB on my Neo so I already extend my crank arm and this is also not working in the versions above .15
and why Tacx release .32 for Neo2 then?
Still no answer from support. I year ago I decided to go for the NEO 2 because I thought problems could be solved by the firmware but I now regret my decision, not to buy the 350€ cheaper obsolete model then. Because I never get the firmware updates working...
Yesterday I received a new housing containing a new Bluetooth device. I replaced the housing and the cadence seems to work also with the new .32 firmware.
sorry, what i s a new housing?
The send me a complete left/right side plastic parts for the NEO. Because the new blue tooth device is glued in the left part.
So my English is not that good but in dutch it is called "behuizing" ;-)
