Is the original Tacx Flux going to get any more support so far as software updates??

Does anyone know if there will ever be any more software/firmware support for the original Flux?

  • Tacx, now part of Garmin, typically provides software and firmware updates for their products to improve functionality and compatibility.

However, the extent and duration of support can vary based on the product's age and technology.

It's best to check Tacx's official website or contact their customer support for the most up-to-date information regarding software and firmware updates for the original Tacx Flux model.

Tey should be able to provide you with information on the current status of support and whether any future updates are planned for your specific trainer.

  • Garmin still sells the Flux S on their websites so I assume it is still a current product, the lack of software updates in the past few years must mean the product is perfect and no improvement is possible, I must have a dud one though as there are a lot of things that could improve, a lot.

  • It is unlikely that the original Tacx Flux will receive any further software updates. While Garmin, which owns Tacx, doesn't explicitly state this, their support page focuses on using the Tacx Training app for updates, which only supports newer trainers. Additionally, the original Flux was released in 2015, making it several years old. While it may still function well, newer trainers offer additional features and are more likely to receive future updates.
