Stuck in Paused

I'm stuck in Paused. Apps do not recognize when I peddle. Happens on both Zwift and Tacx apps so it's not the app. I'm thinking it's most likely a software issue on the Tacx unit. Anyone experience this? Garmin engineers are analyzing my data. It' a new unit and I only used it a few times before it started in the middle of my last ride.

  • Hello. Any update on your problem? We have two Flux and both are stuck in pause too.

    1. I’ve been sending Garmin customer service pictures and data which their engineers are looking at. So far there is no solution which I’m convinced they are not going to find since I now think it’s an issue with the unit. I have asked them yesterday to send me shipping instructions to replace the unit. Winter is here and I need to train so I’m losing my patience.
  • Thanks for the update. I don’t know on what platform your are using yours, but I’m using mine with the iPad app and yesterday, by disabling the Ant+ profile I was able to do a 45 minutes training without a “forced” pause. I disabled this in the trainer settings (once it’s connected).

  • Same problem has my friend I had it sometimes too. It looks like it lost connection...

  • They just replaced it. Not happy that they sent me a rebuilt unit and after one ride it does not appear to be working correctly. Going to try again today. I just purchased mine (not rebuilt) a few weeks ago.

  • Mine does this all the time too. It's so frustrating.  I'm ready to throw 8t off a bridge. And it's new. I've only done 2 months on it but the first week was the only week it worked. I'm so sick of it pausing my activity or deleting everything after I've ridden 20 to 30kms

  • Mine has started pausing in the middle of a ride.  Has anyone worked out how to solve this problem?

  • Contact the Garmin engineers. They will do some troubleshooting and eventually replace with a rebuilt unit if no solution.
