Tacx Flux connection lost when using Garmin Fenix 6 broadcast HR in Tacx app

I use the Tacx Training app on my android phone to connect to my Tacx Flux using bluetooth. No problems there.

However, when I start Broadcast HR in my Garmin Fenix 6 Pro watch, and also couple that in the Tacx app connection to the Flux is lost after 1 to 2 minutes in every ride I start.

I've tried the app on 2 different phones, but both give the same problem.

As far as I can remember, this problem was not there when I started using my Fenix half a year ago.

Of course, I can start an Indoor  workout on my Fenix together with a ride in the Tacx app to save HR info, but then I will have 2 separate rides instead of 1.

If there was no problem before, then return to the version of the application that was at that moment.

  • Don't You listen to the music from phone with BT phones while riding?

  • I found the problem. Apparently my Fenix watch automatically connects to my Flux as well (besides the HR being broadcasted), together with the Tacx app on my phone (or Tacx Desktop on my pc). This seems to interfere. When I disable this connection first in the Sensor & Accessories settings of the Fenix the Tacx app  works fine and connection remains.

  • I have the same problem with the Flow Smart Trainer. But I thought it should work because of i's ability of Dual connection:

Two-way connection via Bluetooth to the phone and just boradcasting the measurements via ANT+ to the Fenix.

As I understood, you are brodcasting your HR from the Fenix to the Flux? How does this work?
