ERG Mode not working

did you find a solution for the tacx app ?

Hi,

I have the same problem with the PC Desktop App for Windows 10. For the Android app it still working, but not so well like before. May be Garmin send some updates in 26/05/2021 for the version 1.21.2.0, and broke the ERG mode used for the FTP workouts. Before this date of 26/5/2021 the ERG mode in FTP workouts it was working fine.

If anyone of Garmin Support knows how to fix it in the W10 desktop app, it is appreciated to solve shortly please!!!

Yes, I had seen that thread, but I wanted to download the software and it did not download it.

The issue is that on the other hand, the Official Garmin Support must give an urgent solution to the problem that the last update of the W10 desktop application surely brought, and that it does not force users to look for workarounds elsewhere in order to continue operating the products they sold us and at considerable cost.

The Official Garmin Support must give an urgent solution for its customers!!!

Personally, I am not optimistic about Garmin's support.

I checked: the download works, the checksums match. By the way, the downloaded installer can be opened as a zip archive.

On the other hand I was able to download the file. Tacx.TacxDesktopapp_1.21.2.70_neutral_ ~ _zcjydbysk4fhm.emsixbundle

1) You need a file with appxbundle or msixbundle extension, not еappxbundle or еmsixbundle.

the problem is solved by installing version 1.20.3. That is, you need this file:
Tacx.TacxDesktopapp_1.20.3.0_neutral_~_zcjydbysk4fhm.msixbundle

Thank you very much again!!!

I'm going to download the indicated file and test it. How is the file installed? ... I tried to change the extension to .msi so that it recognizes it as a windows installation package but it gives an error when executing it.

I was hoping that with some time an Update of the W10 Tacx Desktop app would appear from Garmin support, but it seems that it is a lot to expect a solution from them in the short term.

There is no need to change the extension. Two ways to install these packages are outlined here:

It mentions the .appx or .appxbundle file, but this also applies to the .msix or .msixbundle file.
