Tried to upgrade firmware.
During upgrade, device stuck in rebooting for more then an hour.
Finally, I can't communicate with device.
Upon start power green/red light toggles and all lights turn off later.
I guess I need factory reset.

Anyone got this sorted?
I bought brand new Tacx Flux S, first time everything worked fine, next day after firmware update it connects to app but no power, cadence, speed data. Power led is constantly flickering…
It's no use to contact Garmin now. Yes you can but you have to wait till 4 of january 2021 !!!! In the meantime people still have this issue. You better give them a reply Matthew !
Anyone find a solution to this?
I'm in the same spot - original Flux and firmware update stops the power, cadence and speed data. Can connect to the device via BT or ANT+ but nothing more. No problems loading the firmware, just no data. I was told to unplug for 1 hour to reset. I'm now waiting with 20 mins to go. Will update...
I have the same problem as outlined by everyone here. Is there any advice as now stuck with a machine that dies not work or connect at all.
Same issue here. Havent used it for a while, set it up tested, calibrated and it worked fine. I decided to upgrade the firmware and now it connects to everything but no power. After back and forth to Garmin, where their only suggestion was telling me to turn it off for 30 mins and try again, they tell me ill need to pay £221.58 to get a replacement because its out of warranty. Its not really acceptable.
Did you get a fix for this?
No. You have to pay £230. The machine was clearly bricked by the firmware upgrade
Wtf. Why?! What does the £230 get me?
I never got a fix and heard nothing else from them. The choice is to either pay them £230 for a replacement or just not bother. I don’t understand how they can get away with releasing an update that breaks peoples devices and then just wash their hands of any responsibility. I decided not to bother and will buy an alternative brand in the future.
