New Flux 2 problems

Hello,

I’ve had my flux 2 for a couple of weeks and have had numerous problems pretty much from the start.

The first problem is that I have to calibrate the trainer when launching the app, which I do, but when starting a ride, I then have to calibrate it again.  Second problem is that mid ride, it will pause and ask me to start pedalling again, to resume.  This is despite me not having stopped pedalling. If I continue to pedal, no speed is displayed as if I’m not pedalling. I have to restart the trainer and the app to get past this then problem 1 happens.

third problem, the trainer seems to be ticking from the free hub. I noticed the QR skewer was a little loose so I tightened it and it was ok but now seems to be ticking again. The cassette itself is very firmly held and isn’t loose.

Fourth problem that I noticed today, on a particular ride, the speed was a constant 20.9 mph and despite me slowing it didn’t change.  I wasn’t too bothered as I was just wanting to spin my legs a bit but after a few minutes, problem 2 occurred.

I’ve reached out to Garmin and updated firmware and reinstalled the app, I’m using my iPad for the app.  No other devices are connected other than my Fenix watch. I did drop them an email but they haven’t replied in over a week.

Any suggestions for what’s going on? Are Tacx trainers a bit rubbish, is Garmin support a bit rubbish? Have I wasted my money?

Many thanks for your help
