Flux 2 Smart delivered Firmware version 3.3.45

Hi,

I just received a Tacx flux 2 smart with FW 3.3.45 , (even though the TACX App says the latest FW is 3.3.40).

I am having massive issues with Resistance and power stability.

- Even on the smallest gear I cannot get under 100W

- The Power and cadence have large variations +/- 10-15W

- Cadence jumps +/- 10 rpm

- Connection to Sufferfest instable.

I did try it with Bluetooth and ANT+.

Same behaviour witht the TACX Desktop and the iOS App.

I am assuming this is a HW Problem and will return it.

Does anyone have a solution to those issues ?

I am having the exact same issues. I have tried everything from turning off various connections both Bluetooth and Ant+. even tried ringing garmin support but they were useless and sent me a new unit. New unit has arrived and the exact same issues are still there.

Thanks. I have returned it to the Shop where I bought it and got myself a Wahoo Kickr Core instead. That works great. Good Luck with yours. I would recommend getting a refund if possible.

Alternatively I saw people having managed to upgrade to a Neo by paying the difference.

Ok thank you for the info. I am on my second unit already. Both unit units have the exact same issue. I will be returning and purchasing a wahoo also.

Same issue here. Does anyone heart back from Garmin regarding a new firmware update?
