Tacx Flux 2 true axle

Hello,

I recently bought a Tacx Flux 2. My bike has disc brakes and a true axle 142 x 12. I've fitted the 142 x 12 spacers delivered in the box lf the flux 2.

With my own true axle I can fit the bike on the Flux 2.

Do I still need to buy the t2835 blocking set, Yes or no? I don't find a specific awnser anywhere.

  • Dear Former Member,

I think I had the same uncertainty, as I recently changed my Flux 2 (2020) to accommodate my Cube Attain Disc SL with true axle.

Like I read you did, in the box all is present to properly mount a bike with 142x12 true axle on the Flux 2. I understand this is the case with all "recent" Flux 2 models (from somewhere late Q4 2019, implied by see link on bottom of page). In fact that was part of the reason to spend the additional money on the Flux 2 vs. it's little brother.

What I did is invest in a "quick release" version of the true axle (in my case the DT Swiss X12) to ease the mounting/dismounting of the bicycle on the trainer.

Imho the communication on this matter is very poor by Garmin/Tacx.

PS: Use a spacer for the disc brake, when the wheel is dismounted from the frame.
