After last firmware update I see that with costant cadence the power value is not costant anymore but the value goes up or down untill to 10/15 watt during training...
I guess I am having the same issue.
Showing two example graphs (I have multiple before and after samples of that same training at roundabout same cadens and gears):
Before and after the Tacx software update…
I'm experiencing the same situation. According to DC Rainmaker this latest firmware update had huge improvements on the accuracy. However, the power is not constant after the update. Please someone…
HI, same problem. Was there any software update given? I didnt update my tacx for a long time and never had any problem. now after calibrating it started the described behaviour. how did you manage the problem?
I got a new unit. It did have newer software than the unit I sent back and it worked great last winter. Haven't used it yet this year but I'm hopeful the issue was resolved with the replacement unit.
So Garmin: if you dont want me to send the device, would be able to send me the old SW status to bring Tacx back to normal? it all changed with this update and i cant get any old SW status anymore.
Thanks
So Garmin:
Do you expect Garmin to answer you here?
Files of some firmware versions are in the Facebook group:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1246355348749602/
In addition, older versions of the firmware utility are available here:
https://apkpure.com/tacx-utility/tacx.android.utility/versions
Hello GArmin,
actually yes i do.
I would even expect some more information:
Which SW version is the one fixing our Problem? You give me now an information about SOME firmware version. But which one i njed to install to make the flux work again like before?
Also how do i get the SW to the Tacxs App? Is there any other way to reflash the Flux?
Hello GArmin,
I have nothing to do with Garmin and I doubt that anyone from Garmin will answer you here.
About the firmware version. Think back to the approximate date when you had the previous version. And choose the appropriate version of the utility:

Is there any other way to reflash the Flux?
The firmware files known to me for Flux 2 are available here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WrxLrmQvPzu9bS9n-IU2S-u1YHLLpNZB/view
For information on how to use these files, see here (by analogy, the link gives an example for Neo):

Any resolution to this issue? Have exactly the same.
Perhaps not the answer that you have been looking for; I have come at peace with the situation. That is that I don't feel hampered doing my trainings with fun.
Why?
See the attached image showing two graphs of 2 "flat" rides; the 1st outdoor (power measured by a 4iiii single power meter), the 2nd a Rouvy ride on the Flux 2. The two graphs both showing cadence, speed and power. As you can see both the outdoor and the virtual ride fluctuate a lot.
Of course, the virtual ride is not a typical set resistance (ERG mode) ride. Only very rarely on a ERG mode ride with a set resistance for a longer duration I *think* I can sense a bigger resistance power drop that is not caused by myself due to the machine compensating for my own irregularities; so I can think I should have bought something else more expensive, but (1) for my usage it's not spoiling my experience, and (2) see below;
I have to admit that my Flux 2 has been recalled 2 times (1st triggered by this posting, 2nd last January -see my other posting on strange noise) and replaced by a refurbished one. I have asked the Garmin/Tacx service engineer if I shouldn't replace for a NEO (or...) as I could have sold by new refurbished one easily. His opinion; issues can and will occur. My take; in both cases within a week the Flux 2 was replaced under service and I was riding again...
Each one of us has to make their own judgement, but for me it's about being able to my the trainings and get that endorphins rush :)
