Tacx flux 2 accuracy

Hi,

  • Hi,

I have a similar experience as yours… The Power displays on the tacx app is always 15% lower than the one recorded with my Rotor InPower (which is correct and similar to power recorded with my Assioma Duo). What’s strange is for a climb if you take into account my weight, the Tacx speed, tacx climb gradient, tacx climb distance it is perfectly consistent with the power of my Rotor InPower and not with The Power of the Tacx Flux 2 ! I always use video mode and never ERG (workout) mode.

For the second point, it happens that at the begining of a ride the resistance is incredibly high in the first meters… So close the app and re-start and it works. not a big issue but annoying when you spent 800 euros in a trainer…

I have installed the last firmware available (3.3.40), indicated my weight, performed the calibration trough the Tacx Utility App but nothing a change excepted the stability of the cadence sensor.

I have written to Garmin, and their response is distressing...
