I’m using the Tacx trainer tire. 700x23 inner tube. Inflating to 110 psi. Inner tube punctures are from a single, tiny pinhole puncture, but are in varying locations, and ALWAYS on the outer surface of the tube (ie, not a spoke/rim tape issue). I apply small amount of talc powder to surface of inner tube and inner surface of tire. I’ve even replaced the Tacx trainer tire. I’ve used both regular inner tubes as well as thicker “puncture resistant” inner tubes. I fully deflate the inner tube after each session. Typically get a flat after 300-400 miles. More likely to occur after “steeper” rides (ie, greater resistance). Not temperature related, as the flats occur in cooler weather (50-60 degrees) as well as warmer weather (70-80 degrees). I do all sessions with trainer well calibrated.
Very frustrating!!!
Any thoughts?
Thanks!!
