Flow Smart Overheating at low RPM and High Power

I've had my Flow for a few months now and its generally been fine

However as I've start riding a few more of the hilly Zwift sections I've had on a number of occasions the unit drop all resistance and data.

Cadence is around 68-70rpm and power around 280w

Looking at the Tacx Diagnostic iOS App, its telling me its a temperature issue

Any way to resolve this?

My Taxc Flow overheated on me with one mile left in stage 3 of Tour De Zwift....-_- guess another fan is necessary.

Good news first: You are no longer a beginner. The Flow Smart, however, is.

after some years you apparently got better - climbing the tower or the Alpe when pushing more than 250 Watts will cause the Flow Smart to get into protection mode. Usually right before the finish ;)

    You can:

    1) add a small PC fan using duct tape (ghetto way)
    2) find someone with a 3D printer and have them make you a smarter solution - see: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3047910
    3) upgrade your trainer to a more powerful (read: expensive) model.

not having a 3D printer nor the money for a Neo I had to improvise. hey, it works ;)
