Vivo move will not display text messages

Just purchased a vivo move trend and cannot get it to display text messages or messenger messages. Phone is iphone 14.

I have a move trend and an iPhone 12 and the text messages are working okay.

are you connected to the iPhone?

turn off do not disturb.

turn on the smart notifications.
