Any idea why calendar not updating on watch face?

I used Techie watch face, and used Calendar as Complication 2. I updated my google calendar by adjusting the event time. Then I watched my watch if it will update automatically without swiping on thwatch. Nothing happened .

If you are wanting your Garmin Watch to pull from a third party calendar instead of the phone's default calendar, you will need to turn off all permission for the default calendar before the Garmin watch will pull from the 3rd party calendar. For details, see Events and Other Items Not Showing In My Garmin Calendar Widget. If you continue to have issues, please reach out to your local Product Support for investigation.

I'm using the default calendar which is the Google calendar. The calendar is not updating unless you swipe/scroll up or down the actual watch face.
