touch screen and gestures not working

Hi,

the display of one year old vivomove HR watch is not working anymore.

Tap, swipe and double tap do not have any reaction.

Hard Reset is not possible.

Heart rate and sleep still gets recored and can be synced to Garmin connect.

Are there any tricks to get the touch screen and gestures working?

Any hints are welcome

Hi,

you need to get in contact with Garmin support.

The support will send you an RMA number.

My watch has been replaced by Garmin.

Hope this works for you also.

Me too..... The agent I spoke with said that this had never happened before Clearly this is an ongoing issue. Mine cannot be resolved as it's no longer under warranty.

Fixed it!! At the back of the watch there is a small hole (kind of like to reset watches) I stuck something thin (needle) into the hole and the watch now has the digital info again!

it takes a very thin wire or needle to fit the hole on the back but i confirm that this worked for me too. i used a single strand of the wiring from an old light fixture wire.

Can you target it for me, I see 3 small hole and don't know which need to stuck for reset watches.

Hi, did this work for you? And did you find out which hole it is for the reset? I have exactly the same problem, screen unresponsive, watch works fine but nothing else!

I used an earing - it was the hole on the left side of the heart rate monitor on the back of the watch. Hope it works for you!
