Winter Sports Lifts not tracked (everything was recorded as a "run")

Last weekend I used my vivoactive 6 to track my snowboard session and in the owner manual it clearly states that new ski runs are recorded when you start to move downhill (see image below):

With that, I simple pressed "Start Snowboard Activity" on my watch and enjoyed my day at the moment. I was surprised when I was checking the activity results that there was no separation of Lift/Runs and everything was considered as a single run (see photos below):

1. Activity Map (without separation of Run and Lift) - gray/red

2. Elevation recorded in the same activity

Form the elevation graphs, we can clearly see that the watch is able to record the elevation ups and downs (lift / downhill). I undesrtand that Vivoactive 6 does not have a barometer so the elevation is tracked based on GPS data and might not be very accurate, and I'm OK with that.

Since in the owner manual clearly states that Lift/Run separation is supported in this watch, can someone from Garmin access this issue and respond to this message?

Thanks a lot and have a great day.
