I was doing a run activity and my watch froze after 2km.
I was listening music (mp3 files) and the screen froze on music screen. The sound stopped as well.
It became totally unresponsive. I could not swipe. I could not even switch it off by keep pressing start or back button.
The LED light of optical HR sensor was just on, not flickering.
I kept running for another 3km, went back home and eventually connected my watch to a socket with USB cable.
The screen had been on the entire time, showing the song I was listening when the watch froze.
As soon as it was connected to the socket it shut down. When I switched it on it asked me if I want to resume the activity. Apparently the watch stopped recording the run where it froze.
I have checked new updates 30 mins before the run (my software was up to date). The outside was 10°C / 50°F, not cold enough to cause a glitch.
I have been recording all my run workouts which are from NHS couch to 5K program on Garmin and Strava in the past 7 weeks. Now it's messed up and I am very upset.
