Training Status on vivoactive 6

Due to a case breakage I've updated from a Forerunner 245 to a vivoactive 6. I've had it about a week and am noticing the Training Status in the Connect app is not updating.

Is this metric not supported on the vivoactive 6? If not it seems strange to regress functionality on newer devices over what's available on older devices.

Welcome to Garmins product policy, where almost all SW features could run on all devices, but everything is artificially locked to only a specific subset of watches, so you gotta pay more to get specific functionalities.

You are correct that Training Status is not compatible with the Vivoactive 6. The article What Is the Training Status Feature on My Garmin Device? contains a list of compatible devices.
