Cannot get the watch to vibrate when a phone call is being received?

Since moving to my Vivoactive 6 I do not get a vibration alert when my phone is ringing(incoming call).  I have checked all setting on my Galaxy phone and they all seem to be turned on to allow alerting as per all recommendations.  All other notifications from the phone appear to be working fine, I even get the notification on my watch that I missed a call which is as a result of my watch not notifying me I have an incoming call.

  • Checked other forums and found there has been a bug introduced in the latest release (either Samsung or Garmin not sure).but it effects incoming call alerts from a Samsung phone to a Garmin watch.  Current workaround is to download and use Google Phone app and use this on the phone until its fixed.

  • Hi Desh888, I've noticed on my V6 that there are 2 places where you need to set calls to vibrate. I assume you've done both of those? If not, they are settings then notifications/alerts then smart notifications then calls then vibrate. Under notifications & alerts you also need to scroll down and turn notification center on.

The second place is settings then connectivity then phone then notifications then status on. And also same place calls then status on. You can pick the types of vibrations here, waves or beats or stampede.
