Vivoactive 6 Run Track mode and live activity

My girlfriend uses the Vivoactive 6 for running, and we regularly run the same track. Given that, the watch should be well-calibrated, and the track is likely already in Garmin’s database.

One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that the elevation data doesn’t flatten out as you'd expect.

Is this a known issue, and is there a fix planned in a future update?

Usually, when I run on a track that 1) I’ve never run on before and 2) isn’t in the Garmin database, I still get a flat elevation profile after a couple of laps of calibration—like in the example below. (Forerunner 955)

Also, just a quick question—does anyone know if the LiveTrack feature on the Vivoactive 6 supports messaging? I noticed there doesn’t seem to be an option for spectators to send messages during an activity. Is that correct?
