Ease of use

One of the reasons we bought the Garmin Vivoactive 6 was the reviews that said it was 'simple to set up' and 'simple to use'.  My husband has 2 other, cheap fitness trackers that are 'simple' in every way, but don't give him the information he wants.

It always falls to me to set things up and the Vivoactive 6 took me best part of 2 days.  Once I realised it needed to use wifi (duuuh) it was much better !!!

However, I find it absolutely impossible to work out where the things he wants changed, or turned on or off, are on the system.  It is a complete nightmare.  For example, the 'gesture' movement to turn the watchface on has stopped working.  It vibrates all the time, despite me feeling sure I had turned all the vibrating off.  It has stopped getting notifications from his phone as well.

Furthermore, it is not bright enough to see in the house, especially at night when he just wants to see the time, which he can't do at all now because of the 'gesture' thing.

I know I am not a techie expert, but there is absolutely no way this tracker is easy or simple.  It's nearly on it's way back, but that will make it the third we have returned in a couple of months, so where do I go next?  You obviously can't believe the manufacturers' assurance that any of them are easy and simple to use.

If anyone can genuinely recommend one that is, I would love to hear about it.  Thank you in hopes.
