Garmin Run Coach not available on Garmin Vivoactive 6 ?

Hello,

I bought a Vivoactive 6 for my wife yesterday with the expectation to be able to use the Garmin Run Coach training plan within the garmin connect app. By which I mean the adaptive plan, not the ones with Jeff, etc.

However, when starting a plan in the garmin connect app on her phone, only Greg, Jeff and Amy are available. Am I missing something, or is the adaptive plan not available for the Vivoavtive 6? It seems to be according to garmin: Compatible Devices

This reply doesn't help at all... Unfortunately I have the same problem and bought that watch for the sole purpose of using the coach.

Is there a way that I fix this? Or is it a bug that needs to be fixed by garmin?

To access the Run Coach
Open the Garmin Connect App
Click More > Training and Planning > Garmin Coach Plans
Select an option other than Gain Strength
Navigate the Garmin Coach Plan sign up process
When you are able to choose a coach, choose the Garmin Run Coach.

If the Run Coach is not available, please make sure both the watch and the Garmin Connect App are on the latest software.
