Vivoactive 5 Software Update 17.05 Battery Issues

Hi.  Yes I have this same problem since the most recent update.  Fully charged batter won't last even 24 hours, and my device is only a few months old.  Unfortunately, I don't have a solution yet, as I've tried all of the obvious things, and they haven't worked.

I am experiencing the same issue - mine won’t even last longer than 24 hours anymore. I use to be able to get 5 days out of it. Updated it and now <1 day worth… only got my Garmin on 1st Dec 2025.

would love any suggestions of how to fix or help

Saturday morning update.....I charged my watch to 100% last night, and after wearing all night, the battery is down to 97% - which is what I expect and in line with before the update.

A glitch in the matrix? I can't think of anything I did to remediate the situation (i.e. I didn't turn anything off, or change any settings).

So, for now, I'm back being a happy Garmin customer, although would be good to understand why the wobble.

Glad to hear! Please update us in the next couple days. Mine seems to drop below a certain level (80%?) and suddenly drain really quick. Last night it went down 40%, and I can actively see it draining to 0% this morning. Garmin offered to replace it for a second time, but I am hoping it's a glitch that will sort itself out.
