Version 15.05 loaded twice, no swipe left 2 right and battery draining very fast suddenly

Hello,

I have noticed  issues with my Vivoactive 5 from the moment the watch updated itself to firmware version 15.05 about 3 days ago.

  • Battery is draining very fast, its is empty within a day, without doing any sport activities.

  • When I see the main screen (the clock) I cannot swipe lef to right anymore to see my last used apps list. I now have to press the upper right button and chose apps to go into this list.  I tried als the default Garmin clock but it stayes the same.

  • Yesterday for the second time the watch auto updated to firmware 15.05 again, but behaviour is the same

I have a few apps on it, but are not actively using it. Two wifi networks are defined and I use Garmin Pay and when at Fitness I start the indoor tracking.  Before this update all was working well, but the watch is now unusable, due to the quick battery draining.


Check settings for Heartrate (Automatic) and Pulse oxy meter (off).

    Starting the activity like bicycling or walking was done by me, during activity the watch was not connected to wifi ( I was in between work and home) but was connected to phone using BT and phone has data connection (with connect on phone). During activity I have done nothing with the phone nor watch, maybe received an app, but I have not read them.

    At the end of activity I was home, stopped the activity in front of our house and the watch did immediately a sync of the activity using WiFi (setting in config to do that, for me the default setting). Sync using bluetooth and connect on phone takes much longer. When activity is synced Connect on phone also gives message that I can show activity 

    After this activity the watch was and still is normal with battery. Currently at 62% battery level and the watch is not charged for 4.5 days now. At work or at home the watch is always connected to WIFi (and phone (Android 13)).

    I also can't swipe to get my recently opened. I tried starting an activity and resetting it but I can't get it to work again.
