I love my Vivoactive 5, but there's one recurring problem: In everyday use, any accidental swipe in watchface mode will open the Glances menu, potentially starting an (unwanted) activity.
I know there's the option to lock the screen, but that's not a solution at all. I don't want to actively unlock my screen over and over again when I want to use my watch.
It's such a basic feature, and I would be extremely simple to add:
Adding an option like "Disable Swipe Gestures on Watchface" or "Hardware buttons only on Watchface" under Settings > Systems > Display is all it takes.
I've seen similar requests for earlier Vivoactive models that were posted years ago, I don't understand why it isn't being added. Please, Garmin devs and UI designers, don't make us wait any longer.
