After the upgrade to 13.17 my respiration rate on Vivoactive 5 has increased dramatically. Put on my Venu SQ2 and now my respiration rate is normal again. Anyone else?

4 weeks picture. I had respiration rate 14 most of the time for several months. I am not sick or anything like that….
I also really hope that they will soon release a fix for this problem. Otherwise, what is the point of having a watch that completely incorrectly shows your health status?
yeah, i feel you. I been in contact too with Garmin where they are being stubborn keep telling me there is no issues. Meanwhile this forum, reddit, facebook groups, all have tons of posts with complaints…
I have exactly the same problem. Went from 14 to around 18 at upgrade
I have the same problem after the upgrade
I have the same problem too. During Meditation I had 6-7 breaths per minute. After the upgrade to 13.17 it shows 15-16!!! I timed it with a metronome and I know for sure that I took 6-7 breaths!
Same problem here, went from 14 to around 18. Also HRV is lower than usual, and activity HR is acting strange. Lower HR than usual and sudden jumps in HR. In addition there are bugs in the interface on the screen. Total stress is wrong (way off compared to app, or jumping up and down within minutes), and in Body Battery - Factors all activities were listed as Meditation, after I reinstalled they are now listed as "Activity" (before upgrade they showed correctly.)
I reported the last two issues to support, but they insist there is nothing wrong or that I just have to reinstall (did that, but did not get any better)

Thank you all for your participation in this thread. What day did you start to notice this? Do you have a screenshot in the connect app demonstrating the sudden change between days/correlated with the update?
Mine started February 21st.
I switched to my Venu SQ2 and the respiration rate went back to normal.
around 16.00. So same time as upgrade…
