step goal notification alert (buzz), not working

My Vivoactive 5 recently stopped giving the buzz and notification when I hit my step goal (10,000 steps). I went through all the settings through the watch and the app, and could not find out why this stopped. I think it started occurring right after the last software update. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, please check this by going to the watch settings > notifications and alerts > health and wellness > goals

I have done that. My goals are set to "On" already.

Can you confirm if you have vibration on? go to the menu > system > vibration. If so, are you getting vibration for other things like text notifications, calls, other alerts, etc?

I have vibration set to high. I get vibrations when I receive notifications for email, text, and some other applications. I can watch my step counter cross the 10,000 step (set goal) mark, and nothing happens. I used to get the vibration, a little graphic of footprints covering the screen, and an update of the goal streak. Now, it does none of that.

Any further suggestions? I had an update to the software 2 days ago, and was hoping this would fix the issue, but it has not.

I was unable to reproduce this on my Vivoactive 5, I set a very low step goal, walked around and received the goal alert with vibration and animation on the screen.

Do you have a connect IQ watch face enabled? if so try using a built in watch face. If this is not the case please try resetting the watch by going to settings > system > reset > delete data and reset settings (make sure you sync before, as it will delete data from the watch but not the connect app).
