I previously wore a FitBit tracker and it started tracking sleep data as soon as I went to bed and was still. The Vivosmart 5 didn’t give any sleep data for two days. I did an experiment: I wore the Vivosmart 5 on my left wrist and my FitBit Inspire 2 on my right wrist. I had a headache and went to bed early last night, 7PM-3AM. The FitBit recorded all of my sleep during that time. Inexplicably, the Vivosmart 5 only started recording sleep data from 11:58PM-2:53AM.
What am I missing? I set the sleep setting when I got the Vivosmart 5, but admittedly I don’t have set sleep/wake-up times. Is the tracker not working when you fall asleep outside of the Normal Bed/Normal Wake times? Or do I need to manually start a sleep session on the tracker before bed?
