Vivoactive 5 update problem - stuck on software version 11.14

My vivoactive 5 is stuck on software version 11.14 and keeps getting notifications to update to the latest version.

I have tried to update the software manually through the watch (which has a wifi connection) and have tried through Garmin Express. Neither ways have worked.

Is this a bug with my watch or is there another solution to update the software on the watch?

Its a well known problem. If you check the garmin forum you will see what i mean. Latest version of firmware seems more stable and its a problem occuring on android 14 and specifically on pixel phones

So is this a software issue or an issue with my watch? Do you know if there is a solution to the issue to get the watch to update to the latest version?
