screen turns off while interacting

Just got my new vivoactive 5.

When scrolling through the menu it often happens that the screen turns black (turns off). Touching it again brings me back to the main watch menu (time). Besides that the watch regularly brings up the battery management menu while scrolling up on the main screen.

Does anybody else have this problem?

I do. Its rather annoying. Haven't seen a solution yet. But this watch is too expensive to be doing this all the time.

I'm having the same issue and it's annoying. Wondering if I should warranty it?

I have called Garmin and explained the issue. They advised me to send the watch back, so I did.

I am experiencing the same problem. Changing the display settings (timeout, sensitivity etc.) makes no difference. Updating to newest firmware did not help. Fullcharge/reboot did not help.

The screen turns off and watch returns to the main screen as if it would time out while scrolling.

Did someone find a way to solve this? The watch is a band new Vivoactive 5.

Screen turns black and watch returns to main screen while scrolling as if it would time out.

Changing display settings like sensitivity or timeout did not help.

Firmware Update did not help. Fullcharge/reboot did not help.

Did anyone manage to resolve this?

No. I contacted Garmin and they deemed it a warranty issue and I shipped it back to them and they sent me a new one.
