Music not deleted from watch

I deleted the playlist in Garmin Express step 5 : https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/GUID-5D183A14-BB43-4A9B-B441-5F824214CE40/EN-US/GUID-CD4439DF-46FF-4279-A8D5-8DA61C87A4EB.html

But the music is still on my watch

I'm on version 10.2 an my watch is up to date.

    Are you using Windows or Mac?

    If you're on Windows, connect your watch to your PC and navigate to the watch in File Explorer. The Music folder *should* contain all the music you've synced via Garmin Express. Hopefully you should see the music (and playlist) you wanted to remove, and you should be able to delete it manually.

    (I'm not 100% sure since I don't use Garmin Express, I just copy playlists and music files over manually)

    If you're on Mac, follow the same procedure as above, except you need to install additional software first:

    I'm using a Mac. Thanx FlowState, based on you reply I found something similar. With this program I was able to remove the audio files manually.

    No worries. Glad it worked out!

    Yeah, actually the app you linked is better (more user friendly) than the one I linked. Unfortunately the original/official Android File Transfer app from Google is gone, but luckily these alternatives exist.

    Were you also able to remove the playlist from My Music in Garmin Express? I have a Vivoactive 5. In Garmin Express under My Music there is no option to Remove or Delete a playlist, only Send to Device. I tried to select the list and hit the delete key and nothing. They have the absolute worst instructions of any device (not just watches) I have ever owned. Not only bad instructions, lack of instructions on so many things. But I love my watch Slight smile
