Battery level indicator doesn't work

After I charged my vivoactive 5 for the first time the battery level indicator either shows 100% until it dies 5 - 6 days later or if I restart it the level changes to 'Low' (even if it has just been charged) I have tried all the suggested fixs:

Resetting the watch - No

waiting 24 hrs - No

using the find my devices on the connect app - No

restarting the watch - No

It is incredibly frustrating, surely there must be a simple software fix??

Has anyone else experienced this problem and If anyone has any other suggestions I would be very grateful!

  • Unfortunately not managed to fix it but I've learnt to live with it.

    Basically I charge it once a week then ask it to do a software update which makes it restart, this then makes to battery level show as zero but I then go into systems and turn off the battery saver so everything works as normal (apart from the battery level indicator!)

    It is really frustrating as you can't update the watch etc but garmin have been zero help.
