Update 10.20 won't install on Vivoactive 5

Having a problem with update 10.20 every hour or two it tells me it's ready to install, I select to install, it runs the course and restarts then later notification that 10.20 is ready to install again. Probably gone through the process 20 times now but doesn't seem to work. Any advice/solution?

I lost my watch for a couple of months and just turned it back on a week or so ago, not sure if that may be relevant i.e.trying to update more than one or two software version progressions causing an issue?

I am having the exact same issue and I only brought my device a week ago. Garmin Express still shows the old version and doesn't seem to have a new version to push, but my device keeps saying there's an update available but it's never successful and just prompts again.

Hi mate I think I've solved the issue (unintentionally) or at least I haven't had a prompt to update since.

I went to sync my Spotify playlist, add a couple, delete a couple and had to connect to WiFi whilst doing it, in the kiddle the prompt came up and I tried again and it worked.

Not sure if it wasn't connecting via my phone or WiFi before but it went through a process where it actually appeared to download an update rather than just ask to install.

Hope this may be helpful in some way.

I have had the exact same issue for over a month and i've tried everything and nothing works...

Mine was a faulty device. Contacted Garmin 2 times via chat and tried all their recommended fixes and nothing worked. 3rd time I called Garmin, fixes suggested then also didn't work. Sent a load of logs etc to Garmin who determined the device itself was knackered and sorted a replacement.
