I'm doing the 5K training program (not the "real" coach version) and the second day's workout is what appears to be a "run-walk-run" thing.
The prompts are to do a 2-minute run, a 1-minute rest walk, then a 2-minute run. Repeat 4 times.
I did this today, and there does not appear to be any kind of recovery between the sets/intervals, so I'm trying to figure out: is this really supposed to be "run 2 minutes, walk 1 minute, run 4 minutes, walk 1 minute, run 4 minutes..." and so on? Or is it expected that there is supposed to be a recovery period between the intervals? If so, how do I do that?
I want to follow the program as closely as I can so I want to be sure I'm doing this right!
