The activity tracker has stopped working

despite a full factory reset and software update, the steps arent working, heart rate etc despite all being turned, I have run out of options, sw version 9.27, sensor version 28.11, can anyone help?

Same with me. After the latest update and the new connect version nothing has worked properly. Battery is draining fast, no sleep tracking, HR is on and off without interference etc. I am so fed up with Garmin now, that I am considering tossnig this away and getting Polar.

and yesterday when training the watch had stopped tracking in the middle of the session.

Having similar issues with vivoactive 5. Yesterday worked very hard out in the yard and no activity minutes were logged. Last night stop tracking sleep for 6 hours and gave me some ridiculous stress metric. I've only had this watch for a couple of weeks and it's the second vivoactive 5. Returned the first one. The 9.27 update happened this morning after all this other stuff. Will this update fix any of this? I'm still within the 30-day return window for this watch. Thinking about going to Fitbit especially with the new GUI which I'm not a bit fond of.
