Since the recent app updates. The Garmin Vivoactive 5 is not detecting any naps.

It used to pick even the 15 min naps so well. Now even longer naps are not detected. And since that doesnt happen it doesnt reflect on the body battery score change as well.

Im now on SW V 9.27

  • Thank you for your post. For best results, naps should be less than 3 hours long, including awake periods. Sleep sessions longer than 3 hours escape the definition of taking a nap and are simply classified as sleep. Your nap should also be outside your normal sleep window. This means your nap should start more than 1 hour after you wake up and end at least 1 hour before your normal bedtime.
