having worn the watch the a couple of months now i can confirm that there isn’t a way to turn these notifications off. Regardlass of if you have linked your calendar or not the watxh will automatically display ‘no events’ pop up automatically throughout the day. It’s like it programmed to display this periodically along with step count activity screen. It seems everytime i look at my watch face or enable the watch by touching the screen it displays one of these two screens before i can actually tell the time which is annoying, i then have to wait a few seconds before it changes back to the watch screen i actually wanted to see in the first place.
Garmin, if you are listening please sort this out!!!!!!!!!’
Please post a fix if you figure it out. I wish Garmin would follow what they preach. Go to these forums and they would show a fix. I am honestly thinking of changing watches. I have worn Garmin for over 10 years.
Hi Garmin-Sara
Please can this issue be resolved ASAP. Myself, and lots of other people in this thread are getting irritated by it.
Thank you
I have been having this issue, for the past 2 updates on my Forerunner 965. I have taken off all training calendars, races, calendars from google, reminders, and I still get it many times a day. I have disconnected my phone calendar from Garmin in hopes it would stop. I have looked at glances and there is nothing there that would be an event. It makes me want to throw my watch across the room. As I am here looking for help, once again and actually writing about it.
