How to get rid events on viviactive 5

I get exactly the same, it’s soooo annoying. I’m seriously considering returning and buying something else!!

It still happens to me every day. I have not had a time to call Garmin. I would have thought they monitored these chats. I guess terrible service

This also  happens on mine throughout the day in the following scenarios Firstly, i have always on turned off. When I’ve not tapped my watch in a little while to check the time, when I tap it, it will show the time then immediately display the no events today notification. It’s like the watch is programmed to tell me there are no events today even though I don’t want it to!!! When it displays this message it stays for a few seconds until disappearing preventing me from accessing anything else on the watch. It will also pop up randomly throughout the day even when I’m not touching it, again it’s like the watch wants to remind there are no events even though I don’t manage events on my watch. Please please please sort this out Garmin I’ve only had the watch a week and already thinking of returning it!!!!

I get the notice at least 30 times a day if not more. Drives me crazy. Keep me updated if you get it figured out

This just started happening to mine as well. It happened all day today and all day yesterday. Probably about 30 times a day. I've turned it off and on and considered doing a factory reset. And by the way, this is my third vivoactive five. The other two were defective and they've sent me a third one now. I'm frustrated as well.

Please advise if you figure it out. Still happens to me. To lazy to do a factory reset

Same is happening on forerunner 165. I randomly get this about once per day. Can confirm that holding top left of watch will trigger this as well.
