I have accidentally discarded a run. Can this be recovered?

As the subject title says.... I have accidentally discarded a run with my Vivoactive 5. Can this run be recovered without too much hassle?

Same sort of problem here, but it was a swim which has a different UI for save-or-discard, and the UI is very confusing. It doesn’t mark what each button will actually do and essentially doesnt ask for confirmation.

When an activity is ended, on a Garmin device, it will give the option to save or discard the recorded activity. Once you select discard or clear, that activity is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
