## Not found on setup then half an hour later WiFi worked so please ignore! ##
Just tentatively invested in a vivoactive 5 as I got fed up of having to charge up my Pixel Watch daily.
I still have a Fenix 6X Pro but that would never connect to my Google WiFi, then Nest WiFi then Nest WiFi Pro hence the downgrade to a Pixel Watch.
Decided to try again with the vivoactive 5 and from the very start it fails to find my WiFi. My Edge 1040 has no problem, my scales have no problem. I tried entering the network name manually with no success.
With the Fenix 6x it was suggested I go to the far end of the garden where only 2.4 Ghz was available but this never worked. As it never worked with Pixel phone Wifi hotspots or mixed band Virgin and Sky hubs Ijust assumed the watch had faulty WiFi.
Is it a simple compatibility issue that has never been resolved with Garmin watches?
Should I switch off Wi-Fi protected access 3 on the Nest Wifi?
Or should I just return the watch?
