Display doesn't turn off unless it is on the watch-face screen... this happens by day or by night... by night DND/SLEEP MODE ARE ON, by day they are off...

The most annoying thing happened this morning, when I wanted to check the time ~ 5:00 and I had the morning report instead of the WF; The watch activated locked on but the screen still ON; even after minutes; I had to restart the watch to get to the watch face, the morning report disappeared - and the watch already thinks I'm awake, even thought I slept till 8:30;

  • AOD : OFF
  • GESTURE : ON
  • AUTO-LOCK : ON
  • AUTO-BRIGHTNESS : ON
  • TIME-OUT : SHORT
  • WIFI + BLUETOOTH : OFF

There seems to be very very big software issues, I don't think it's hardware...

Big disappointment from a new premium Garmin watch just released on the market...

I start to miss my old FR55 (no issue with that little bugger)

  • Also having the same issue. A call notification woke me up, then after that notificstion auto closed it was left on the morning report, but the watch never turned off automatically on this screen. Only after closing the morning report and returning to the watch face did the watch display turn off after a delay.

    I ve also noticed this behavior in other circumstances. For instance if I open the Controls menu, then do nothing, after a minute or so it will return to the watch face but will never turn the display off automatically.

    This is going to cause a huge loss of battery and will make me consider returning the watch since I don't know if Garmin's always behave this way.
