Won't connect to GPS for up to 30 minutes!!

Vivoactive's won't connect to GPS at all, or takes up to 30 minutes?

I've tried powering off and on.

I've tried re-syncing with phone.

I've tried and restarting and standing outside for good signal.

And finally I've tried instructions to delete the RemoteSW folder and re-sync to Garmin Express with no improvement

I have two of these watches and both are now pretty much useless to me.

On your watch > hold the bottom button for 3 seconds > choose settings > system > About > What does the Current CPE info screen show?

Hold the bottom button for 3 seconds > choose settings > system > About > SW Versions > What is the main sw version shown? GPS?

My watches are vivoactive 3. I can't find anything that says CPE in the system settings

Hello!

What is the device software version? the GPS Software version? Both can be found using this article - Viewing Device Information.

How frequently is your data being synced with your phone/computer?

Both watches are:

Device software version 8.20, GPS version 2.50,

furthermore TSC version 2.10, sensor version 6.60, WHR version 30.03.31, Connect IQ 3.1.9.

I sync my watch at the least once a week, at the most a few times a week.

All the version are what they should be. Have you tried changing the Satellite configurations? or resetting the devices to default? If neither of those work, please contact Garmin Support in your region. It is possible that your device will need to be exchanged/upgraded

I have just tried to do that. It seems to have possibly improved with one of them, but no change for the other. I'll be in contact with support thanks
