Garmin vivoactive 4

I have a Garmin Vivoactive 4. The top half of the touchsreen sensitivity stopped working. So I cannot use the touchscreen to turn the watch off. My left to right swipe is not working which means the volume up (top of the touchscreen) does not work to turn the music volume up.

I have tried rebooting and also a hard reset to no avail. Any suggestions?

Ditto. Except mine is the area from 2 - 4 o'clock that has stopped working altogether. Plus the scrolling becomes unusable, sometimes working, sometimes selects an option as soon as I put my finger on the screen to scroll.

I have owned this particular watch with no issues for a good few years now and this is the first problem I've had.

Sure would be nice if a Garmin rep chimed in with a fix
