My Vivo Active 4 has ways had the same "swipe up to end activity screen" but today I was able to pause my workout and there just... Wasn't any option to end?? It appears there was a "stop" by pressing the lower button but pressing did nothing and holding it down lead me to settings. I checked all settings there was no swipe-stop toggle. I was able to fix it with a factory reset but now I lost the activity.. which 
is kind of the point of tracking right? So... Is Garmins software typically set to change settings at random? Or are the software engineers eating rocks for breakfast again?
