Openwater swim

How do I add open water swimming to my watch? I feel like it used to be an option but is no longer on my watch, just pool swimming

Hi did this work for you? Please let me know. I will download what was suggested to you below in the link but I have an additional question: I have a vivoactive4 and went for a 1600m swim in a lake this morning but the watch (pool swim was the only option) recorded 10,4km! What's happening?

VIvo 4 never had open water swim. Garmin chose to exclide that sport activity to push users to buy more expensive watch.
