It happend several times already. Since I’ve been using the vivosmart 4 for two weeks I would say that there were more activities that it failed to record than activities that it actually got right.
It goes that way: I start an activity, at first evething seems to be right. But then suddenly (about 15-20-25 minutes later) out of blue I notice that no record is going on there. Only basic screen with a clock appears. Annoyingly fail happens without any notification or vibration. And no tracking can be seen after that in Garmin Connect or else where.
More to say it happens during DIFFERENT activities. At first Vivosmart failed me during strength training. At that moment reps counting was on. It failed a few times. I decided to turn counting off and that’s how we managed to record the training finally. Seemed strange but ok.
Than it happened again during running. And later during walking. In first case it was not connected to gps, in second — it was. So it was not the point.
Since the main reason to have smart watch is to track one’s activities it actually seems very disappointing. You literally had one job.
Any advice?
