vívoactive 4S optical sensor not working

My optical sensor suddenly not working that no light is on. I have done reset the watch to default but still cannot fix the issue. Please advise what process I can fix the issue. Thanks.

The same issue , vivoactive 4s with latest 8.5 firmware, and the optial sensor don´t turn on and also the battery life no more than 1 hour. Terrible customer service by garmin...ni solution to this big…

Vivoactive 4 recently got updated to V8.30 and GPS SW 6.0.

Post this SW updates, optical sensor stopped working. Green LED lights are not on anymore.

Also, watched stopped tracking steps and it stopped steps reminder as well.

I have the same issue. Reset the watch. Still no joy. No response from Garmin support. Very frustrating.
