Software version 8.30

My VA4 just updated a couple of hours ago to sw 8.30.

Any change log, is it beta, final version?

There's no info anywhere, not in this forum, nor in the beta program section.

Note: I am enrolled in the beta testing program.

    Nobody cares about old watches. Garmin wants you to upgrade.

    my vivoactive always reboot when i set it in tracking pulse ox all day is there fix for this problem also when i am in a run my heart rate reading drops to 0 and then it goes up again.

    Since upgrading to v8.30 I am having battery drain problem and not able to pair my phone.  I suspect the bluetooth on the watch isn't working properly.  Does the self-test o the watch validate that bluetooth is functioning properly?

    So far, this version proved nothing but a disappointment. I want to revert to previous non-beta build 7.80, but I can't find the fw anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    That is why I asked what was changed. Because quite often it happens that updates break something and I wanted to know what was focus of the update. But Garmin did not provide any information - their support is 100% polite, 0% helpful. 

    Downgrading software will not help, because on Vivoactive 4 user cannot stop updates, so it will just auto-update itself in a few days, and you will have same problem again. 

    The only solution is properly working software version.

    same problem. My battery is decreasing at a rate of 4% per hour. It used to be 1%.

    My hope is staying on 7.80, since 8.30 is beta software. made the mistake of enrolling into the beta program, thought grass was greener there. Wish I didn't.. Even though I left the beta, the goddam watch remained on 8.30

    how can I leave the beta program? I analyzed garmin express and garmin connect app and didn't find any option. I have 8.3 software. Thanks

    1. Sign into Garmin Connect (website)
    2. Click    in the upper right
    3. Click Device Settings for the enrolled product
    4. Click Leave Beta Software Program
    5. Read Beta Software Program opt out information
    6. Click Opt Out

    The instructions are here but this won't change the watch's firmware. You need to sideload-it manually, but there's no firmware linked that I could find.
